If we can prevent problems before they happen, that we've got a team that's looking for that and they want to share that with you. From the doctors to really anybody on our team, our doctors, our hygienists, our dental assistants, even our front office, we've really done a lot of cross training just to be able to inform. If you're looking for a dental practice where you can get good information on pros and cons to things and make the best decision for you, that's what we love to do is to educate our patients on best dental care options.

Technology Makes Maintaining Your Beautiful Smile Easier
Many dental practices say they like working with patients of all ages, but we really mean it! Because Dr. Michelle Haynes, Dr. Courtney McKeever, Dr. Amanda McCabe, and Dr. Jessica Parry like working with different ages and fixing a wide range of dental issues, they have focused their experience and training in diverse areas of dentistry, including:

So I'd love to just take a minute and share a little bit about our treatment philosophy at Highlands Ranch Smiles. When you come into our reception area, you may notice that we have some guiding principles on our wall that our team took a lot of time to think through and come up with. And one of which is to make recommendations like we're treating our families. And so, if you were my brother, my sister, my daughter, what I would recommend for you would be minimally invasive proactive dentistry. What does that mean, because that's a lot of words? So minimally invasive dentistry just means that we want a thorough exam and good technology to be able to catch problems early. So whether it's a cavity, infection, wear on your teeth, whatever the problem may be, that we want to catch those things early and then be able to provide a minimal treatment option.
So an example would be finding a cavity early when it would just need a small filling to correct it instead of letting it progress into a bigger problem that might need a crown or a root canal. We also make proactive recommendations. And what that means is, is just trying to figure out what's the underlying cause of dental problems. So if you're on a new medication and it's giving you dry mouth, then we want to really focus on how we can relieve the dry mouth, how we can protect the teeth, because we know that dry mouth is known to lead to very aggressive cavity formation. So rather than waiting and just treating the cavities that form from your dry mouth, we want to figure out how to prevent them from happening in the first place. If those are the underlying causes, it would be much better to treat those instead of just waiting for teeth to break and then recommending crowns at that point.
So if you enjoy learning about health and it's important to you to keep your teeth for life, I think you'll find minimally invasive and proactive dentistry to be the best fit for you. Myself and my team at Highlands Ranch Smiles would love to meet with you and help you create a plan that's going to work best for you.
