Highlands Ranch Smiles :  Restorative Dentistry in Colorado

Lost and damaged teeth aren’t the end of your great smile. If you want to get back to eating with ease, smiling brightly, and impressing your friends and family with your great grin, Highlands Ranch Smiles can help make it a reality! We have a variety of restorative dentistry techniques available that can help you rediscover the smile you thought was gone forever!

Dental Implants

The best solution to missing teeth, dental implants can restore your smile while also helping the health of your mouth! Implants are small screws that are placed directly into your jaw and act like the roots of your natural teeth. Made of titanium, implants bond with your bone and stop the bone loss that usually accompanies missing teeth! We can finish your implants with great-looking restorations, from one tooth to a whole mouthful!

Crowns and Bridges

Dental crowns are caps used to restore broken, cracked, or decayed teeth. Highlands Ranch Smiles uses new metal-free crowns that offer better benefits than the standard crowns used by many dentists. We use metal-free crowns to eliminate the unsightly black line usually seen next to the gumline on older crowns.

Metal-free framework under the porcelain gives an excellent esthetic touch to make the final restoration extremely natural looking, unlike PFM (porcelain-fused-to-metal), which for decades, has been the standard in dentistry for crown and bridge restoration materials.

Dental patients have more choices because of these advancements. New materials used for crowns have higher esthetic qualities, and this is one of the reasons we choose to offer these types of dental crowns.

We also offer bridges, which are used to restore a missing tooth. A bridge consists of a false tooth attached to two crowns that are placed on the teeth adjacent to the missing one. You’ll get a great tooth replacement that is indistinguishable from the original!

Tooth-Colored Fillings and Onlays

Do you need teeth fillings? Or perhaps you’re feeling self-conscious about the ones you have now? You don’t have to live with very visible and obvious teeth fillings anymore. Other than getting unwanted attention when you speak or open your mouth, metal fillings are made of materials that can further damage your teeth! We gladly offer fillings that are the same color as your natural teeth so no one will ever notice them! We can also remove old amalgam fillings to proactively protect you from harm!

We also offer onlays. These are tooth-colored restorations that replace the unsightly silver fillings on your enamel. With tooth-colored fillings, you don’t have to experience painful extractions to get rid of cavities, decay, and extensive tooth damage. Because it is always our goal to be as conservative with your teeth as possible, we use onlays to cover part of your teeth, sort of like a partial crown. They look completely natural and blend perfectly with your remaining healthy teeth!

Best of all, onlays and fillings won’t take too long to put in! We need you to come in only for one session, where we’ll remove only a small part of your enamel before placing the onlay or filling. The composite material bonds with the enamel in just a few minutes!

Root Canals

Root canals might get a bad rap, but they’re a great way to relieve the pain of an infected, decayed tooth! In fact, they relieve pain instead of causing more of it! A root canal is done when decay reaches the inner pulp of your teeth. When that happens, you can have infection spread from one tooth to the others, so we perform a root canal to remove infected pulp.

A root canal is performed using a series of special tools that reach into the inner portion of your teeth and remove all infected tissue. After that, we’ll fill the tooth and cover it with a crown so it’s safe and protected from future infection! The state-of-the-art tools we use to perform your root canal do a great job at minimizing discomfort and pain!

Damage to your smile doesn’t need to be the end of your smiling days! We can fix it with any one of our restorative dentistry techniques, so call us today at 720-644-8186 or make an appointment using our online form. We look forward to helping you with our restorative dentistry in Colorado!
