Our three doctors have different areas of dental expertise and unique interests outside our Highlands Ranch, CO dentist office. But they share a strong commitment to improving their patients’ lives!
Dr. Michelle Haynes grew up in South Carolina. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College, Dr. Haynes continued her studies at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After practicing dentistry for a few years in Colorado Springs, Dr. Haynes moved to Highlands Ranch and established Highlands Ranch Smiles in 2011.
Dr. Haynes is a family and cosmetic dentist who has a true passion for creating beautiful, healthy smiles in a comfortable and friendly environment. Dr. Haynes has focused her postgraduate training on cosmetic and orthodontic dentistry, including veneers, one-visit crowns, Invisalign, and Fastbraces. Other areas of advanced education for Dr. Haynes include oral sedation (so you can sleep through your dental appointment), implant dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Haynes has been married to her husband, Johnny, for twelve years. They have two energetic children – Riley born in 2014 and Thomas in 2016 – and a 10-year-old Siberian husky. They enjoy spending time as a family at the parks and trails in HR and when a babysitter can be found — skiing!

Dr. Courtney McKeever grew up in Lexington, KY. She attended the University of Kentucky and received her undergraduate degree in agricultural biotechnology, graduating magna cum laude and in the honors program. She continued her studies in Lexington and received her doctorate of dental medicine from the UK College of Dentistry.
After dental school, Dr. McKeever completed a general practice residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During Dr. McKeever’s residency, she gained extensive training in root canals, extractions, implants, sedation, and emergency dental care. Since residency, she has completed more than 150 hours of continuing education in the field of implants. She is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, the Colorado Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. McKeever strives to provide the highest quality dental care to her patients. Her philosophy has always been to treat each patient as she would treat her own family member. You can trust that during her treatment recommendations, she has your best interests at heart and will work with you to create the healthiest, happiest smile you can achieve.
In her free time, Dr. McKeever enjoys being outdoors with her husband, Jim, and their yellow lab, Luna. As avid mountain bikers and skiers, they love exploring Colorado together.
Dr. Amanda McCabe found herself wanting to become a dentist after a dentist helped her overcome extensive issues from a water tubing accident as a child. She remembers the feeling she had after completing her care. So for Dr. McCabe, dentistry is a way to give back to the community!
Dr. McCabe prides herself on making patients comfortable in the dental chair. She takes time to explain treatments so patients can make the best choices possible about their care. She loves working hand-in-hand with the incredible staff at Highlands Ranch Smiles and teaching patients about the connection between oral health and overall wellness.
Dr. McCabe graduated with a Bachelor of Science with distinction at Penn State University and then earned her dental school degree from Temple University. She spent a year in the Bronx, where she completed her general practice residency at Jacobi Medical Center.
When she’s not in the office helping patients, Dr. McCabe stays active hiking, biking, running, rock climbing, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her friends and family. She also loves experiencing other cultures and traveling.
