You know, no one in my family's in the dental field, but I always enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid. I actually loved it, and so that created a positive experience. And then we had a family friend that was a dentist, so I shadowed her a little bit through college, and the rest is kind of history.
Through my career so far, I've just realized I love helping people. I love talking with people, and I love helping them achieve a happy, healthy smile.
I'd say the most rewarding part about dentistry is when a patient comes in in pain and we're able to move our schedules around and to accommodate them and get them comfortable. It's also a lot of fun when a patient comes in and has goals for a big, bright Hollywood smile and we're able to achieve that with orthodontics or with veneers.
I love this office because we not only provide high-quality dental care, we're also a team, and we are very involved in the community. We pride ourselves on going out and getting involved. We offer a free dental care day once a year. We also go out and do numerous different volunteer activities, just giving back to the community of Highlands Ranch, which we love to be a part of.
Dr. Jessica Parry grew up in London, Canada. She attended Florida State University as a student-athlete where she received her undergraduate degree in physiology, graduating magna cum laude and All-American in Cross Country and Track & Field. She then moved to Philadelphia, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dr. Parry’s husband is a Colorado native, and they relocated to Denver after she completed dental school. She practiced dentistry in Westminster, CO before joining the team at Highlands Ranch Smiles.
What Dr. Parry loves most about dentistry is being able to give back to her community and to the less fortunate. For the past two years, Dr. Parry has traveled to underserved villages in Haiti with a group of dentists to provide dental care. She plans to continue traveling to areas of need to help those who otherwise would not have access to dental care.
Dr. Parry prides herself in providing a safe and welcoming environment for patients where they are fully educated about their best possible treatment options. She focuses on patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and continuing education to make sure she is up to date with the latest methods and technologies.
Dr. Parry and her husband, Wes, live an active lifestyle and can usually be found running, hiking, or skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Their goal is to climb all of the 14ers!
